The goal of Boulder Performance Lab, a locally owned independent lab, is to provide laboratory-accuracy testing and results at a fair price to the professional and recreational athlete, with a high level of personal service.
BPL is a full service lab, providing the traditional Lactate Threshold and VO2 Max physiology tests. Additionally, BPL performs Full Range VO2, Caloric Burn Rate, Respiratory Exchange Ratio (RER), Fat vs. Carb Consumption Rate, and Glucose Monitoring. BPL can tailor the protocols of a specific test session to provide the data most relevant to that competitive athlete’s training needs. Test protocols are explained thoroughly and results are reviewed upon completion of the tests.
Whether base lining or monitoring performance improvement, cyclists, runners, triathletes, and any endurance athlete will benefit from the quantitative analysis that physiology testing provides.
